BANGOR, Maine — A New York man will spend five years behind bars after he was sentenced Wednesday on a drug charge, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

William Waters, 33, of the Bronx, also will serve three years of supervised release once he completes his prison term on a charge of distributing oxycodone.

BANGOR, Maine — A 32-year-old man pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court in Bangor to possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute a little more than a year after a woman he was with was caught transporting 645 illicit pills in a body cavity, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Thomas Delahanty II.

BANGOR, Maine — A man and woman from New York City were indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury on drug charges related to their arrests in Waterville in March when the woman was found to be hiding 645 oxycodone pills within a body cavity.
