Ex-sheriff’s partner in crime sentenced – Lexington Herald Leader

A Williamsburg man has been sentenced to 33 months in prison on a federal charge that he conspired with a former Whitley County sheriff to distribute Oxycodone.

The defendant, James A. Meradith, 35, was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove in London.

Meradith previously pleaded guilty to giving three Oxycodone pills to former Whitley County Sheriff Lawrence Hodge in exchange (more…)

LONDON, Ky. (WTW) — A Williamsburg man who provided prescription pills to a former Whitley County Sheriff has been sentenced to 33 months in prison
