NEWARK – A man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after he allegedly gave Oxycodone pills to his cousin who had been drinking, causing him to die of an overdose.

Theft of oxycodone was reported from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Main Street.


Timothy Scott White, 48, of Marion, was arrested on a warrant fn a felony charge of trafficking in cocaine. He turned himself in at the sheriff’s office and was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center.

Maintenance worker enters plea in theft of Oxycodone from resident at assisted living…

A maintenance worker at an assisted living facility in The Villages who had been arrested last month after admitting to stealing Oxycodone from a resident, has entered a plea in his criminal case.
