Manatee County pharmacist arrested for stealing Oxycodone from job – WFLA

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WFLA) – A Manatee County pharmacist was arrested by the sheriff’s office on Wednesday and charged with theft and possession of controlled substances.

Cody Bennett, 33, was employed as a pharmacist at the Manatee Discount Pharmacy when he committed the offenses.

Monterey woman charged with selling oxycodone – Cookeville Herald Citizen


A Monterey woman has been charged with selling oxycodone in a drug-free zone.

Stephanie Elizabeth Smith, 32, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Cookeville Drug Unit of the 13th Judicial District Task Force into an incident that happened in 2016.

She was temporarily held on a $15,000 bond and is expected in Putnam Criminal Court Nov. 6.

NEWARK – A man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after he allegedly gave Oxycodone pills to his cousin who had been drinking, causing him to die of an overdose.
