Monterey woman charged with selling oxycodone – Cookeville Herald Citizen


A Monterey woman has been charged with selling oxycodone in a drug-free zone.

Stephanie Elizabeth Smith, 32, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Cookeville Drug Unit of the 13th Judicial District Task Force into an incident that happened in 2016.

She was temporarily held on a $15,000 bond and is expected in Putnam Criminal Court Nov. 6.

NEWARK – A man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after he allegedly gave Oxycodone pills to his cousin who had been drinking, causing him to die of an overdose.

Theft of oxycodone was reported from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Main Street.


Timothy Scott White, 48, of Marion, was arrested on a warrant fn a felony charge of trafficking in cocaine. He turned himself in at the sheriff’s office and was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center.
