On Saturday, Cedar Grove police arrested an East Orange man who fled from the CVS Pharmacy at 387 Pompton Ave. after attempting to obtain Oxycodone with a fraudulent prescription at 5:37 p.m.

Two out-of-towners last week were indicted by a Superior Court grand jury on prescription fraud charges stemming from separate incidents in Belmar and other nearby towns in which authorities allege they forged prescription blanks to obtain oxycodone, documents show.

A Hopatcong man is due in court Wednesday on a charge of robbing a CVS drugstore pharmacist in Roxbury of $2,362 worth of Oxycodone painkillers.
Daniel R. O’Neill, 28, of Tulsa Trail, was lodged Monday in the Morris County Jail on $250,000 bail on a first-degree robbery charge. He is due to appear Wednesday before a Superior Court judge for a bail (more…)
