Alleged Oxycodone smuggling leads to arrest – KRBD

A 32-year-old Hydaburg woman faces felony drug charges after allegedly trying to bring hundreds of Oxycodone tablets from Seattle to Ketchikan.

According to an Alaska State Troopers report, the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs Task Force arrested Terra Adams at about 10:30 Sunday night. Troopers say she had a role in smuggling 367 30-milligram tablets of the prescription drug into Ketchikan.

Rikers Island correction officers charged with smuggling cocaine, oxycodone – New York…

Cocaine and oxycodone flowed freely to Rikers Island inmates with some help from a handful of corrupt correction officers, officials announced Tuesday.

Rikers inmates paid fees ranging from $400 to $900 to guards who used their badges to sneak powder and pills inside over the last six months. Seven correction officers have been implicated in narcotics smuggling and other ethical lapses at (more…)
