Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist charged Jared Gloster, 31, with two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree for stealing Oxycodone from two South Hill pharmacies. Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County featured the defendant on its website and flyers.
“Oxycodone addiction is a growing problem,” said Prosecutor Mark Lindquist. “We’ve been seeing people go berserk in pursuit of the drug.”

A Lacey man was sentenced to 21/2 years in prison Monday in U.S. District Court in Tacoma after earlier pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute oxycodone and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

A 26-year-old man was sentenced this morning to 14 years, 3 months in prison for a spree of robberies last fall that terrorized fast-food and convenience store clerks in Tacoma.
Joshua Nitschke, 26, pleaded guilty in July to robbing 28 local businesses and attempting to rob two others. Nitschke, who earned the nickname “the fast-food robber,” and his girlfriend said they committed (more…)
