A man was sentenced last Thursday in U.S. District Court in New Haven to seven years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiring to obtain and distribute oxycodone through the use of fraudulent prescriptions at a North Haven store.

Conn. man faces sentencing for painkiller charge – Boston.com

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — A Wallingford man is facing sentencing after he was convicted of a federal charge involving the painkiller oxycodone.

Jonathan Cosgrove is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in New Haven. He was found guilty by a jury in March of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone.

Three face charges for fraudulent prescriptions

Several men are facing jail time after allegedly passing fraudulent prescriptions for Oxycodone pills at a Walgreens store in North Haven.

Convicted last week on a federal drug charge, Jonathan Cosgrove, 27, of Wallingford, faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. A U.S. District Court jury in New Haven found Cosgrove guilty of one (more…)
