2 admit roles in NJ oxycodone trafficking scheme –

NEWARK — Two North Jersey residents admitted their roles in a drug trafficking scheme that involved obtaining prescriptions for oxycodone and selling the narcotics for profit, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Rhonda Musallam, 41, of Fairview, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Newark federal court to an oxycodone distribution charge, Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick announced in a statement.

Man charged with involuntary manslaughter – The Newark Advocate

NEWARK – A man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after he allegedly gave Oxycodone pills to his cousin who had been drinking, causing him to die of an overdose.

Daniel R. Quick, 52, last known address 27 Bolen Court, Newark, was charged Dec. 6 with involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony. The warrant was kept under seal until Quick’s (more…)
