Vineland, NJ, man facing multiple DUI & Oxycodone charges freed on $20,000 bail

VINELAND, N.J. (AP) — A southern New Jersey man who was charged with drunken driving five times during a five-week period has been freed after spending more than a month in jail.

Authorities say 45-year-old Anderson Sotomayor posted $20,000 bail on Monday.

Suspect Named in Daytime SWAT Bust – Patch.com

Camden County investigators have finally named Taylor Bennett, 27, of Collingswood, as the lone suspect apprehended in a May 11 police action.

According to Jason Laughlin, spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, Bennett was charged with possession of Oxycodone with intent to distribute. He allegedly had 49 pills on his person at the time of his arrest.

Doctor accused of writing false prescriptions – Lancaster Newspapers

A local doctor has been charged with writing false prescriptions for painkillers to a pair of patients over the last two years.

James Douglas Nash, 66, voluntarily surrendered his license to practice medicine in December, amidst a state Attorney General investigation.

Nash, who practiced in Denver and lives in New Holland, also waived a preliminary hearing as soon as the felony charge of (more…)
