Doctor accused of writing false prescriptions – Lancaster Newspapers

A local doctor has been charged with writing false prescriptions for painkillers to a pair of patients over the last two years.

James Douglas Nash, 66, voluntarily surrendered his license to practice medicine in December, amidst a state Attorney General investigation.

Nash, who practiced in Denver and lives in New Holland, also waived a preliminary hearing as soon as the felony charge of (more…)

Reward offered for Manville drug-store burglar who stole Oxycodone – NJ.com

MANVILLE — A reward of up to $2,500 was announced today, May 24, for information leading to the arrest of whoever burglarized the Walgreens drug store on May 3.

Manville Police Chief Mark Peltack said that on May 3 at about 12:50 a.m., Manville police responded to alarm activation at the store on South Main Street. Police found a broken glass pane (more…)

Lancaster County doctor and two patients arrested on prescription drug charges – CBS 21

A Lancaster County doctor and two of his patients were arrested today and charged with multiple counts of prescription drug abuse following an investigation into the doctor’s prescribing habits.

Attorney General Linda Kelly identified the defendants as Dr. James Nash, Anthony Brocco and Jared Parvin. Dr. Nash operated a medical practice at 560 North 5thSt., Denver, Lancaster County.
