COLUMBUS >> An Ohio defense attorney says at least one juror may have stolen oxycodone pills during a drug trial.

The Columbus Dispatch reports attorney John David Moore Jr. says jurors found his client guilty and then rushed out of the courthouse before anyone noticed the 71 opioid pills were missing.

Oxycodone found on man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend – WECT-TV6


A Wilmington man charged in the killing of his ex-girlfriend allegedly had drugs in his possession the day he was arrested. 

Joseph Cornell Corbett III, 37, is accused of shooting Shantell Denise Williams, 42, multiple times in broad daylight as she ran away from him on Dock Street on March 14.

Metairie doctor indicted for illegally dispensing Oxycodone and threatening officers -…

A Metairie doctor arrested in July on charges that he illegally prescribed painkillers and threatened to kill federal agents was formally indicted by a grand jury Thursday (Sept. 29). 

U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite announced that Dr. Shannon Ceasar was indicted for violating the Federal Controlled Substances Act and threatening to assault or murder federal law enforcement officers.
