Government secures ninth and tenth convictions in oxycodone ring – wajr

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Ten people have now admitted to their roles in a drug distribution operation in northern West Virginia that was broken up by federal investigators in June.

Leon Jamar Maddox, 34, of Fairmont, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of oxycodone. Maddox admitted to selling oxycodone in Monongalia County in September 2015. Maddox will be sentenced at a later (more…)

West Virginia residents admit to oxycodone distribution – WDTV

CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV)- A Fairmont man and Morgantown woman are behind bars after admitting to their roles in a drug distribution operation in Monongalia County.

According to a Press Release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office Clarksburg Division, Fairmont resident Leon Jamar Maddox, 34, pled guilty to one count of “Distribution of Oxycodone.” He admitted to selling the drugs in September 2015.

Monongalia County man seventh person convicted in oxycodone ring – West Virginia MetroNews

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Monongalia County man became the seventh person to admit to participating in a 33-person drug ring that spanned from Michigan to West Virginia.

Codey Bonnette, 25, of Morgantown, admitted to distribution of oxycodone. The crime in question occurred in September 2015 in Monongalia County.

Bonnette faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.
