WORCESTER – Hector Espola was charged Wednesday in federal court with possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute.
According to court documents, Mr. Espola, 30, allegedly sold 300 oxycodone pills on two occasions in July and August to a person cooperating with federal investigators. On Feb. 17, he was arrested in Massachusetts on a federal warrant as he returned (more…)

A former New England doctor who was prescribing oxycodone and other powerful painkillers at enormously high rates pleaded guilty to 44 counts of health care fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and money laundering.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A Massachusetts man has pleaded guilty in New Hampshire federal court to conspiracy charges involving oxycodone, cocaine, and a gun.
