Doctor gets federal prison sentence for illegal distribution of oxycodone – The Denver…

DENVER – Dr. Kevin R. Clemmer, 60, of Evergreen, Colo., was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Court Judge Robert E. Blackburn to serve 48 months in federal prison for the illegal distribution of oxycodone and money laundering, federal authorizes announced.  

Following his prison sentence, Clemmer was ordered to spend 3 years on supervised release.  Judge Blackburn also ordered Clemmer to pay restitution.  (more…)

Authorities arrest more than 20 suspects in Cincinnati Oxycodone bust –

The FBI, DEA, IRS and several other law enforcement agencies busted a major prescription drug operation in Cincinnati today. The bust started last night. Authorities arrested more than 20 suspects for illegally distributing Oxycodone.

Agents seized pharmaceutical drugs, guns and nearly $100,000 in cash. The 2-year investigation was called “Operation Family Vacation. The group has been charged with conspiracy, possession and distribution (more…)
