Death from analgesic overdose, including the painkillers oxycodone and codeine, is more concentrated in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods with a prevalence of high divorce, single-parent homes than deaths from unintentional causes, according to research conducted at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. EXETER — Four men allegedly involved in dealing drugs such as heroin and Oxycodone were arrested in a sweep conducted by police on Monday and Tuesday.

Belleville police said officers arrested a Newark man holding heroin packaged for distribution earlier this month.
According to a Belleville police report, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, police saw Karim Hunter, 35, of Newark, peering into parked cars near the intersection of Franklin and Naples Aves.
