Hudson woman sentenced in Mississippi oxycodone case –

A 60-year-old Hudson woman must pay a $5,000 fine and serve a 20-year prison term for distributing oxycodone in Mississippi during stays at local resorts.

Gail Ann Owens also will have three years of post-release supervision.

Guilty plea entered in Miss. pain pill case – San Francisco Chronicle

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — A Hudson, Fla., woman has pleaded guilty in a federal drug-trafficking investigation that identified her as the source of oxycodone pills brought to Harrison County, Miss., during visits to Coast hotels.

The Sun Herald reports 60-year-old Gail Ann Owens accepted a plea agreement Monday to a charge of possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, a prescription pain-killer.
