Former Pharmacist Admits Stealing Cash, Oxycodone From UConn Infirmary – Hartford Courant

VERNON — A former supervisor in the pharmacy at UConn’s Student Health Services infirmary pleaded guilty Friday to first-degree larceny and illegal distribution of narcotics and faces up to two years in prison.

UConn police arrested Michael Olzinksi, 46, of Coventry in April 2016 following an investigation that was prompted by UConn’s auditors.

Nurse practitioner accused of illegally prescribing Oxycodone – My Fox Boston

A Dorchester nurse practitioner was arraigned on charges related to illegally prescribing painkillers to her family members and friends across the state.

A grand jury indicted Roberta Regan, 51, for 10 counts of unlawful prescription of oxycodone, one count unlawful prescription of lorazepam and one count of unlawful prescription of clonazepam in Suffolk, Norfolk, and Plymouth Counties.

Judge sentences second family member in NJ oxycodone ring –

NEWARK — A federal judge Monday sentenced a “minor participant” in a Newark-area drug ring to 30 months in prison, saying that while his role was limited, he nonetheless was opening the door to the state’s epidemic of heroin abuse. 

Johnny Horvath last September pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone.
