ALBANY — A Rensselaer man who was part of a ring selling thousands of tablets of oxycodone pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to distributing the painkiller drug.
Justin Brooks, 27, belonged to an operation headed by co-defendant Angel Nunez, whose source of supply for the drugs was in the New York City and Newark, N.J., areas, according to federal prosecutors (more…)
NEW HAVEN, CT — Raymond “Freddy” Morales, 33, was sentenced to 84 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for his role in a fraudulent prescription scheme for oxycodone, announced United States Attorney Deirdre M. Daly.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police recovered close to 500 oxycodone pills after conducting a joint operation with the Drug Enforcement Administration at the Westfield Mall in Trumbull on Thursday.
According to police, authorities acted on a tip from the DEA and conducting the operation around 9:30 p.m. Two people were arrested and a total of 478 oxycodone pills were seized.
