A former Boscawen man was sentenced Monday to more than four years in federal prison for trafficking oxycodone.
Patrick J. Brooks II, 37, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Concord on a charge of possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office. Brooks will be on supervised release for three years following his release from prison.

ALBANY — A Rensselaer man who was part of a ring selling thousands of tablets of oxycodone pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to distributing the painkiller drug.
Justin Brooks, 27, belonged to an operation headed by co-defendant Angel Nunez, whose source of supply for the drugs was in the New York City and Newark, N.J., areas, according to federal prosecutors (more…)
