Oxycodone dealer pleads guilty in federal court – Albany Times Union

ALBANY — A Rensselaer man who was part of a ring selling thousands of tablets of oxycodone pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to distributing the painkiller drug.

Justin Brooks, 27, belonged to an operation headed by co-defendant Angel Nunez, whose source of supply for the drugs was in the New York City and Newark, N.J., areas, according to federal prosecutors (more…)

A 32-year-old Portland woman pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to health care fraud and attempting to acquire oxycodone pills by deception.

From May 2015 until March 2016, Shannon Bragdon stole blank prescriptions from the dentist office where she worked and used dozens of them to pass fraudulent prescription orders at at least nine pharmacies in southern Maine, said U.S. Attorney (more…)

Second person sentenced in oxycodone distribution ring | WJHL – WJHL

TRI-CITIES, TN (WJHL) – A judge sentenced the second of three people charged in an oxycodone distribution conspiracy in the Tri-Cities.

Rocky Hendrix, 48, was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison for conspiring to unlawfully distribute and dispense oxycodone.

Hendrix pleaded guilty in February to conspiring with former nurse practitioner Sherry Barnett, Robert Staton II, as well as others.
