Oxycodone dealer sentenced in 80000 pill Medicare scheme – CT Post

A New Haven drug dealer was sentenced Tuesday in his role in a criminal ring that obtained more than 80,000 oxycodone pills, largely through government-funded prescription drug plans.

Alejandro “Pun” Prosper, 36, of New Haven, was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for his role in the scheme, which included purchasing pills from middlemen and selling them directly to consumers, according to (more…)
