Augusta man gets 3 years for robbing CVS of oxycodone last year – Bangor Daily News

BANGOR, Maine — An Augusta man who admitted robbing a CVS pharmacy of oxycodone pills a year ago was sentenced Wednesday to three years and one month in federal prison.

James P. Rich, 29, was arrested in March for the Nov. 28, 2012, robbery of the Capitol Street drug store after he confessed to police the previous month.

BANGOR – A Brooklyn, N.Y., man was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Bangor to serve seven years in prison for illegal distribution of oxycodone.

AUGUSTA — The city man charged over the weekend with robbing the pharmacy inside the Civic Center Drive Walmart told police he discarded two of three bottles of pills he was given because they were more than he needed to make a deposit on his sister’s apartment.
