A Peters-based physician was indicted late Wednesday on seven counts of distributing the opioid drugs oxycodone and oxymorphone without legitimate medical purpose.
The indictment of Oliver W. Herndon, 40, follows a criminal complaint filed last month and sets the stage for his arraignment Wednesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cynthia Reed Eddy.
