Boaz police say a woman faces charges of oxycodone trafficking following a traffic stop Monday.
Officers stopped a woman at around 10:30 p.m., according to a news release.
The woman refused consent to search her vehicle. After the K-9 unit arrived, she still would not exit the vehicle and was removed.
The search turned up methamphetamine, oxycodone, assorted pills and a glass pipe with meth residue, police said.
Amanda Stewart taken to the Boaz City Jail. Once there, police found heroin inside a folded up $1 bill.
She has been charged with trafficking oxycodone, drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of prescription drugs, second degree promoting prison contraband, obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest.
She is being held on $100,000 bond.
