Man arrested after K-9 finds 791 Oxycodone pills in SUV – The Register-Guard

Nearly 800 prescription pills were found by a police K-9 dog after Oregon State Police stopped a speeding SUV Wednesday morning near Goshen.

Troopers pulled over a 2013 Dodge Charger, traveling 92 mph in a 65 mph zone, at around 8 a.m., state police said.

In speaking to the driver, Dominique A. Woods, 22, and passenger Katrina Sharpe, 21, the trooper noticed Sharpe had what appeared to be Oxycodone tablets wrapped in Cellophane sitting in her lap, police said.

The K-9, named Hemi, was called in and located 10 grams of marijuana and 791 Oxycodone tablets, police said.

Woods, of Olympia, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and being a fugitive from justice in Washington state. He was taken to the Lane County Jail.

Sharpe, also of Olympia, was not arrested.
