A woman in Middletown Township, Bucks County, will be charged Tuesday afternoon with criminal homicide in the overdose death of her 2-year-old son, police said.
Sebastian Wallace died on Oct. 22 in the emergency room of Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township. Toxicology tests found that his blood tested positive for the prescription painkiller Oxycodone at three times the level that would kill the average adult, police said.
The boy’s mother, Coco Kollie Wallace, was the only person caring for Sebastian in the hours leading up to his death, police said. Wallace allegedly told detectives that she had some Oxycodone pills in her possession the day before her son died.
A news conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. to discuss the case.
