Troopers Seize 989 Oxycodone Pills During Traffic Stop –


Two women from Michigan are facing felony drug charges after troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol seized 989 Oxycodone pills during a traffic stop Friday.

According to the report, troopers stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz, with Ohio registration, for marked lanes and speed violations on Interstate 75, in Hancock County, at about 12:45 a.m.

During interaction with the driver, troopers observed marijuana in plain view. They searched the vehicle, which revealed a magnetic box containing 989 Oxycodone pills, according to the patrol.

The driver, Mahogany Dean, 37, and passenger, Tiffany Lindsey, 47, both of Detroit, were arrested and taken to the Hancock County Jail. They have been charged with possession of a scheduled II substance, and possession of criminal tools. If they are convicted, they could each face up to 21 years in prison and up to a $25,000 fine.
