May 11 – At 11:10 a.m., Mackendy Mathurin, 34, of 40 Union St., was arrested and charged with possession to distribute a Class B drug (oxycodone/Percocet) and a drug violation near a school or park (Woburn Memorial High School). Nelson J. Fernandez, 19, of 40 Union St., was arrested and charged with possession to distribute a Class B drug (oxycodone/Percocet), drug violation near a school or park (WMHS) and three counts of possession of a Class C drug (mushrooms, alprazolam and hashish). Both men were arrested as part of a Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force investigation.
May 11 –
At 10:55 a.m., a Connecticut man reported his car damaged while parked in the Woburn Mall parking lot. According to police, there was minor damage to the vehicle.
At 12:58 p.m., a landlord reported minor damage done to an apartment by a tenant.
At 1:26 p.m., a 32-year-old Woburn woman was summonsed to Woburn District Court for a marked lanes violation, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle. According to police, the woman was pulled over after police observed her car cross the double yellow line on Main Street during routine traffic patrol.
At 7:13 p.m., police responded to Merrimac Street for a neighborhood dispute. According to police, a man reported his neighbor yelled at his dog and his wife. The neighbor told police that he was frustrated and did yell at the dog. Both neighbors told police they are unable to enjoy their yards because of the other. Police asked the neighbors to “try to get along and be respectful to each other’s tranquility.”
May 13 –
At 9:37 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Cambridge and Bedford roads. According to police, one car went through a red light to cause the crash. That driver was cited for the traffic violation. The other driver and child passenger were transported to the hospital as a precaution.
At 3:25 p.m., police were dispatched to a two-car accident on Main Street near Walgreens. According to police, one car hit the other while exiting the parking lot.
At 5:13 p.m., police were dispatched to a fight in the front yard of a home. According to police, a father and son argued over work and “contributing to the family.”
At 7:58 p.m., a Woburn man reported a bicycle stolen from the back of his car while it was parked at Four Corners. According to police, the bike is purple with blue tires, a blue sprocket, blue dice on the tire caps and a black and white seat.
May 14 –
At 8:01 a.m., police were called to a two-car accident on Wood Street. According to police, one car went around a parked car and clipped another car. There were no reported injuries.
