Jorge Luis Tello-Iturbe, 56, of Basking Ridge was arrested after police found the man in possession of more than $1,000 worth of cocaine, oxycodone and prescription pills in Somerville on April 17, police said.
Tello-Iturbe was arrested at a restaurant on Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster after police received a tip the man would be there in possession of cocaine and oxycodone on Tuesday afternoon.
Detectives searched Tello-Iturbe’s vehicle and seized three bags of cocaine, four oxycodone pills, thirty prescription pills and an Ohaus digital scale. The restaurant parking lot is located within 500 feet of Peapack Schoolhouse Park.
Tello-Itube was charged with six counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
Tello-Iturbe was lodged in the Somerset County Jail with bail set at $100,000 cash.
