Police: Man Used Fake Prescriptions For Oxycodone Pills

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A Baltimore man is accused of passing three counterfeit prescriptions for oxycodone pills at the South Hanover Walmart.

Scott Schwartz, 28, used high-quality counterfeit prescriptions with the name of a pain clinic and doctor in Baltimore, West Manheim Township police said. Officers said they arrested Schwartz earlier this month while he waited in line to pick up a prescription. Schwartz is also charged with bribery in connection with telling the arresting officer, “Whatever it takes to make this go away, you can have all the cash I got on me,” police said. He is in York County Prison with bail set at $75,000.
